It's indeed the best time in India to innovate, create & disrupt!

 

India has less than 20% enterprises owned by women, close to 80% of these are single founder driven enterprises with hardly any access to capital & other resources. However, women entrepreneurs have still found their foot, taken a leap of faith & did exceptional innovations inspiring many on the way.

AIC Banasthali India’s first & now the largest women centric business incubator has always worked relentlessly to support a large number of women-led entrepreneurs becoming part of their success stories. 

With the ‘AWE Women Startup Seed Grant’ AIC Banasthali wishes to celebrate, encourage and honour young women disruptors who have broken barriers at a young age inspiring thousands in the process.  

The Grant is presented with support from the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi and ACE Health Foundation (USA).

  • Top 6 participants will get an opportunity to present in front of the jury members on the Final Day
  • Seed Fund of Rs. 5.00 Lakhs to the winner 
  • Seed Fund of Rs. 3.00 Lakhs to the 1st runner-up
  • Seed Fund of Rs. 2.00 Lakhs to the 2nd runner-up 

Eligibility Criteria

    • Must be an Alumni or Current Cohort member of AWE Program supported by U.S. Mission in India.

     

    Other eligibility criteria:

    • The award is for women owned enterprises only,
    • Woman or a group of women having a minimum of 51% shareholding in the company/firm & having decision making rights in the company,
    • The startup should have gained good traction in terms of revenue, no. of customers, product-market fit & profitability,
    • The startup should not be more that 10 years old as on date from the date of incorporation,
    • The startup should be solving a critical national/social problem in an innovative way, creating impact & having potential to scale.
