Incubation Program

AIC Banasthali is India's pioneering and largest women-centric business incubator, having successfully completed 5 cohorts of incubation and 6 cohorts of acceleration programs. This translates to providing robust support for over 130 women-led startups throughout their growth journey. 75 of these have raised over Rs. 1026 Mn in funding, registering 56 IPs and creating over 2000 jobs. 

WOMENPreneur, is a comprehensive 9-months Hybrid (Physical & Virtual) incubation program tailored for early stage women-led startups – from prototype, market validation to early revenue generation. The program's primary objective is to foster the growth of innovative, technology-driven scalable solutions capable of addressing critical issues, helping them become investable and sustainable.

Over the last few years, 50 startups across 5 incubation cohorts have benefited from this unique Incubation Program. The hybrid nature of the program has been carefully crafted to address the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. Notably, 25 of these startups have successfully secured funding totaling INR 189 Mn, underlining the program's efficacy in propelling women entrepreneurs toward success. 

The startups under the program will have access to various funding opportunities:

• Grants upto Rs. 10.00 Lakhs under the Department of Science & Technology (GoI) NIDHI PRAYAS Program for developing technology based hardware prototype.

• Grants upto Rs. 7.00 Lakhs under Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) TIDE 2.0 Scheme for developing software or ICT solutions.

• Grants upto Rs. 15.00 Lakhs from Ministry of MSME for idea stage Product Startups.

• Grants & Seed Funding upto Rs. 50.00 Lakhs under Startup India Seed Fund Scheme.

• Seed funding upto Rs. 100.00 Lakhs under the Department of Science & Technology (GoI) offering Funds under Seed Support Program.

Focus Areas

Women Startups working in the areas of Technology & Sciences will be preferred.

Program Fee: 2% Equity or INR 50,000 Fee


Eligibility Criteria


    • Startups should be incorporated in India.

    • Startups in which women or a group of women hold a minimum 51% shareholding. However, the startups can have male co-founders.

    • Must be willing to work full-time with no predictable source of income.

    • The startup should solve a critical national/social problem in an innovative, transformational way with the help of technology that seeks to bring social/commercial value.

    • A startup should be registered as a Private Limited/Partnership or LLP with DPIIT.
